ALL ABOUT US

Established in 1964, the Beechwood Recreation Association has brought enjoyment and inclusion to the local community. We pride ourselves in making sure all of our members and guests have a gratifying experience, whether they're splashing around at the pool or attending the clubhouse for a festive celebration. We are a private community organization that is run by volunteers for the benefit of the neighborhoods in the Denbigh and Beechmont areas of Newport News, Virginia.

Our facilities include a five-lane, 25 meter, swimming pool (with both a shallow end and a deep end with a diving board), a wading pool for young children, a recreational area, and a clubhouse that members and guests can rent for private events and parties. The Beechwood Recreation Association also has a competitive swim team, and holds several social events and activities for its members throughout the year.

The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend throughout Labor day and the clubhouse is open all year for rental and community events. For more information about memberships, please call (757) 744-4149 or click here.
