Upcoming lifeguard training classes will be posted once scheduled. Once the schedule is posted,  you may register for the class using the form link below. Payment will not be required until after the successful completion of the preliminary swim test. Payment may be made by cash, card, or money order made out to BRA.

The preliminary swim test includes:

• Swimming 300 meters using either breaststroke or front crawl (freestyle)

• Treading water for 2 minutes without using your hands

• Brick retrieval - swim 20 yards, dive and retrieve 10-pound brick from a 9-foot depth, and return to the starting point with the brick. All within 1 minute 40 seconds.
